Generator Installation Technician

Premier Energy Solutions is a growing, full-service energy company specializing in generator installations, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and site work. We are looking for a motivated *Generator Installation Technician* to join our field team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and wants to learn a skilled trade. While experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, shows up on time, and is eager to learn. *Job Description* As a Generator Installation Technician, you will work alongside our installation crews to prepare job sites, install generator equipment, and complete the site work required for residential and commercial generator installations. Every day is different, and you'll gain experience working with excavation, equipment, concrete pads, electrical and gas trenching, and heavy material handling. *Responsibilities* * Assist with residential and commercial generator installations * Prepare generator sites for installation * Set generators on concrete pads, stands, and other mounting systems * Excavate trenches for underground electrical conduit and gas piping * Backfill, grade, and restore work areas after installation * Safely load, unload, and transport materials and equipment * Operate hand tools and power equipment * Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites * Work closely with electricians, plumbers, and other field personnel * Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures *Qualifications* * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Dependable and punctual * Reliable transportation to and from work * Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Ability to lift 75 pounds and work on uneven terrain * Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team * Valid driver's license mandatory *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience operating mini excavators or other compact equipment * Previous excavation or construction experience * Experience driving pickup trucks with equipment or utility trailers (non-CDL) * Familiarity with landscaping, site work, utilities, or underground construction * OSHA certification *Compensation & Benefits* * Competitive pay based on experience * Additional pay available for candidates with excavation experience * Additional pay available for those experienced in towing and operating trucks with trailers (non-CDL) * Overtime opportunities * On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement * Consistent, year-round work * Supportive team environment with opportunities to build a long-term career If you're dependable, enjoy working outdoors, and want to build a career with a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
