*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Rebar Worker to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, tying, and securing reinforcement bars (rebar) to strengthen concrete structures in various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure the durability and safety of foundations, walls, slabs, and other concrete elements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, contribute to large-scale building projects, and develop your skills in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong understanding of construction processes. *Responsibilities* * Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine rebar placement and specifications. * Measure, cut, bend, and shape rebar using hand tools and power tools to meet project requirements. * Install rebar cages and mesh according to blueprint specifications while ensuring proper spacing and alignment. * Tie rebar securely using wire ties or mechanical fasteners to maintain structural integrity during concrete pouring. * Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently. * Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate formwork construction and reinforcement placement. * Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. *Skills* * Strong mechanical knowledge related to rebar fabrication, cutting, bending, and installation processes. * Experience with construction estimating and interpreting construction plans accurately. * Knowledge of hardscape techniques, concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and cutting methods. * Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and heavy machinery safely. * Proficiency in blueprint reading and specification interpretation for precise rebar placement. * Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. * Skills in masonry work, flooring installation, plastering, renovation projects, and concrete finishing are a plus.
