*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of masonry tasks that contribute to the integrity, aesthetic appeal, and durability of construction projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds, all while honing your skills in masonry and related trades. *Duties* * Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other building materials with precision and attention to detail. * Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate material placement and structural integrity. * Mix mortar and concrete accurately, applying mortar work experience for durable bonding of masonry units. * Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete forming to prepare for pouring and finishing operations. * Execute finishing tasks such as plastering, stucco application, caulking, drywall installation, and trim carpentry to achieve smooth surfaces and polished appearances. * Build masonry scaffolds safely according to project specifications and safety protocols to facilitate work at various heights. * Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment efficiently while maintaining strict safety standards on-site. *Experience* * Proven masonry experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating bricklaying, stone masonry, or concrete work on commercial or residential projects. * Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting construction plans and specifications. * Hands-on experience with construction site activities including renovation projects, restoration work, roofing support, framing carpentry (metal stud framing), and drywall installation. * Knowledge of building material installation techniques such as tile laying, metal stud framing, and heavy equipment operation. * Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately while adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocol adherence in fast-paced environments. * Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and the ability to interpret blueprint specifications for precise execution.
