Job Summary Atlas Roofing & Waterproofing is hiring a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to diagnose and repair leaks, maintain roof systems, and keep our commercial clients' buildings watertight. You'll work with a service foreman on service calls across the Valley, from small patch jobs to multi-day repairs. Details: Position - Commercial Roofing Service Technician Location - Phoenix, AZ metro area (field-based) Employment type - Full-time, hourly Pay - $30.00 per hour Schedule- Monday–Friday, early starts in summer; occasional on-call and emergency leak response About Us Atlas Roofing & Waterproofing provides commercial roofing and waterproofing services across Arizona. Our service team is the first call when a client has a leak, storm damage, or a roof that needs attention. We value quality work, safety, and technicians who take ownership of their jobs. Key Responsibilities * Respond to service calls and investigate roof leaks on commercial buildings * Inspect roof systems and identify damage, wear, ponding water, and failed flashings or seams * Perform repairs on single-ply (TPO, PVC, EPDM), modified bitumen, built-up (BUR), foam (SPF), coatings, and metal roofs * Repair and replace flashings, curbs, drains, scuppers, pitch pans, and penetration seals * Complete preventive maintenance: clear drains and debris, reseal penetrations, and document roof condition * Take clear before-and-after photos and write accurate service reports * Explain findings and recommend repairs or replacement to clients and building managers * Load, maintain, and track materials, tools, and the company service vehicle * Follow OSHA fall protection and all company safety procedures on every job * Respond to after-hours emergency leak calls on a rotating basis Required Qualifications * 2+ years of commercial roofing experience, including repair or service work * Hands-on experience with at least two commercial roof systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, mod bit, BUR, foam, or metal) * Ability to find leak sources and choose the right repair method * Valid Arizona driver's license and a driving record that meets our insurance requirements * Comfortable working alone and managing your own schedule of service calls * Basic smartphone or tablet skills for photos, work orders, and reports * Clear communication with clients and teammates * Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Preferred Qualifications * Hot-air welding experience on TPO and PVC * Manufacturer training or certifications (e.g., Carlisle, GAF, Johns Manville, Firestone/Holcim) * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification * Experience with roof coatings and spray foam repair Physical Requirements and Working Conditions * Climb ladders up to 40 feet and work on rooftops at height * Lift and carry up to 75 lbs, including up ladders * Work outdoors in Arizona heat, including summer temperatures above 110°F * Bend, kneel, and stand for long periods on hot and uneven surfaces * Use fall protection, hand tools, power tools, and hot-air welders safely Pay and Benefits * *$30.00 per hour* * Paid sick time * Medical insurance * 401(k) retirement plan * Company service vehicle and tools provided for work use * Ongoing training and room to grow with our service team Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
