*Overview* We are seeking a motivated Chimney Service Assistant / Apprentice Technician to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in chimney and venting system maintenance, repair, and installation. This role provides a valuable opportunity to grow within the industry while contributing to safe and efficient home and commercial venting solutions. *Duties* * Assist senior technicians with chimney inspections, cleanings, and repairs * Operate basic hand tools and power tools * Support the installation of chimney caps, liners, and venting systems * Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times * Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) *Skills* * Basic knowledge of construction tools including hand tools and power tools * Experience in construction site work, restoration, or remodeling projects * Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately * Willingness to learn new skills * Prior experience in general construction, plumbing, electrical work, or roofing is advantageous but not required This position is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in a growing chimney service company.
