Yardman / Laborer / Loader Operator

This position will do general labor around the plant including: Preparing concrete block orders Cleaning and maintaining the yard around the plant Loading customer's vehicles Cleaning and maintaining the Front End Loader Operating a forklift Mowing and Weed eating Other duties as assigned by the plant manager This position will operate a front end loader to: Load aggregates into bins at a ready mix concrete plant Push up piles of aggregates as they are received at the plant Load dump trucks Clean out concrete pits The ideal candidate is already proficient with operating a front end loader, but we are willing to train good candidates. The candidate should be an independent worker and comfortable in a fast paced work environment that requires frequent multitasking. This position does require extensive manual labor. This position typically works 55+ hours a week, with everything above 40 hours paid at time and a half. The typical start time is 5:00 am however our scheduling is based on customer needs and earlier mornings do commonly occur.
