Job Title: Rigger / Construction Worker Company: KTBlack Services Location: Columbus, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time PER DIEM AVAILABLE FOR TRAVELLERS Job Summary: KTBlack Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Rigger / Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting construction operations by safely lifting, moving, and securing heavy materials and equipment on job sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: Safely rig, lift, and move heavy equipment and materials using appropriate tools and techniques Inspect rigging equipment (slings, chains, hooks, etc.) to ensure safety and compliance Assist with general construction tasks, including site preparation and cleanup Follow all OSHA and company safety standards Communicate effectively with crane operators, supervisors, and team members Read and interpret basic load charts, blueprints, and job site instructions Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Qualifications: Previous experience as a rigger or construction worker preferred Knowledge of rigging practices, hand signals, and load securement Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments Strong work ethic and reliability OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Benefits: Competitive pay (based on experience) Opportunities for overtime Health benefits (if applicable) Career growth and training opportunities Schedule: Monday – Friday 7-5
