*COMPANY OVERVIEW* Emission & Cooling Solutions (ECS) is a service provider and distributor of components for heavy duty diesel engines. ECS primarily services emission aftertreatment systems and engine cooling systems for Class 5-8 trucks, heavy machinery, and stationary power units. Based in Nashville, Tennessee with multiple locations nationwide, ECS is a premier provider in the heavy-duty parts industry and features a brand synonymous with exceptional customer service and steadfast integrity. *POSITION OVERVIEW* The Production Paint Specialist is a skilled and detail-oriented professional who plays a critical role within the Production Department. This position focuses on the reconditioning of diesel aftertreatment components, ensuring each unit meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. As an essential contributor to ECS’s mission, the Production Technician supports the delivery of high-quality, remanufactured emission control components that promote environmental sustainability by reducing raw material usage and extending product life cycles. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Product Manager, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation, quality, and accountability drive success. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* *Part Processing* * Paint components prior to packaging * Assist in any and all disassembly/reassembly necessary to successfully repair components in need of correction or enhancement * Perform quality checks in accordance to department standards * Assist in packaging remanufactured aftertreatment products and ensure proper labeling and organization. *Inventory* * Assist in maintaining aftertreatment cores, reman components, and clamp and gasket inventory * Monitor consumable inventory and communicate accordingly when low *General* * Actively refer to SOPs to learn and implement best-practices when handling different parts * Ensure tools and shop equipment are routinely cleaned, organized and maintained * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned *QUALIFICATIONS* * High school diploma or equivalent required * Minimum 2 years of painting experience * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and boxes up to 50 pounds * Must be able to tolerate high and low temperatures * Must be able to proficiently operate a handheld tablet * Must be able to operate basic hand and power tools * Must be able to pass a background check and routine drug tests * Must be able to provide at least two recent references *PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES* * *Intelligence* – possesses raw intellect. * *Detail Oriented* –pays close attention to small details and asks questions when faced with a lack of clarity. * *Results Driven *– links decisions to overall business objectives. * *Affable & Collaborative*– ability to embrace, support and practice a collaborative style which goes beyond relationship building. * *Industrious – *utilizes time at work wisely and proactively seeks ways to maintain productivity and efficiency. * *Communicative – *possesses exceptional verbal communication skills. * *High Energy – *driven to seek continuous improvement and help build a culture of accountability. *COMPENSATION & BENEFITS* * Compensation will be a highly competitive hourly wage paid bi-weekly. * 401(k) * Dental/Vision Insurance * Health Insurance * Paid-Time Off *OUR HIRING PROCESS* * Candidates may expect a screening phone call within 72 hours of completing the assessment. * Following a successful phone call screening, an in-person interview will be conducted with finalists at our shop location to further access candidate compatibility. * Finally, in addition to passing a background check, all candidates must provide a reference from your current supervisor or, at minimum, a previous supervisor in order to proceed to employment. * Offer letters are submitted within 48 hours of completing both reference and background checks.
